We visited the Stephen Langton for a mid week lunch and were certainly not disappointed. What a Gem, if not a little off the beaten track and a little difficult to find, but well worth the trouble as the premises, which have been extensively refurbished over the last six months or so provide an excellent venue for a lunch out.

“The menu is good and comprises good quality fresh food prepared on the day by the in house chef. The service is very good provided on our visit by the owner who is very welcoming and friendly and obviously takes great pride in the service that both she and the pub / restaurant provides overall.”

We have been there a few times while staying at Wotton House and if you go on the walk round Wotton House you will pass this pub , so stop and have some lunch ! Brilliant”
